Database Maintenance
September 15th, 2011PosBrowser stores a lot of information in order to function. Some of this is needed long term, some of it loses its relevance or does not need to be kept in such detail after a period of time, and other data is only used once and after further processing is no longer needed. The data that is no longer needed or that could be reduced stays in your database taking up space, increasing your backup size, increasing time to copy data to training and affecting system performance. Data Maintenance is designed to remove and condense this redundant data.
